Blue In The Face began with just the guitar and voice of Derek Morris. What started as a solo endeavor quickly grew into much more with the addition of Amanda Morris. Balanced with Derek's smooth vocals and textured chords is Amanda's rich, bluesy voice and accomplished piano and keyboard playing. The music of Blue In The Face flows from simple acoustic to pop to electronica. The band would become an underground sensation with an incredibly supportive and dedicated fanbase, and win several online spots as "Top Band", "Bad of the Week," and on. Still, for them, it was always about a love of music and sharing that with their audience.
